Event Ready Producers – 2014 and Beyond, was launched in February 2012 to provide information and practical guidance to support food and drink producers to maximise the opportunities from the growing event sector within Scotland.
Since the project started, many food and drink producers have benefited from the support, signposting and intelligence the project has provided. New trading relationships have been developed and suppliers have worked collaboratively to harness supply opportunities created by events such as Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, The 2014 Ryder Cup, T in the Park and The Royal Highland Show.
Scotland is well placed to further develop the events and festivals across Scotland, and Scottish Enterprise and its partners are committed to supporting businesses to maximise the opportunities.
